Should I worm?

When I move my 3 little munchkins to the new place. I'm worried the stress of moving might cause any worms to activate...like how we worm mama goats after they give birth. Would I do it right before I take them or right after we get there. (it's only 6 miles down the road)

Well, I wormed my "old" goats when I moved them to the bigger pen and introduced them to the "new" goats. My reasons were stress and that the horses had used their area as part of their pasture and I worried about the goats picking up worms the horses may have left (we worm the horses, too, but you never know.)

I don't know if it was *really* necessary, but it made me feel better.

I would super worm them right before, but you can get a fecal done at work to know if there is an issue, you dont want to bring any resitant worms to the new place so if i was in your shoes I would worm with two good wormers. Not that the new place couldnt already have worm issues, but still, I would sleep better. Speaking of sleep, night yall

I'd would probly worm them 10 days before the move at the old place before the move & then when they get to the new home. Then I would probly wait a couple weeks & take in fecals to work like Cannon Farms suggested.

Well then worm tomarrow & again in 10 days from tomarrow. It will be OK. I just always worm 10 days later to get any of the little buggers that may be hanging in there.
