My goat gave me....

POISON IVY!!!

Ouch! Apparently she got into it while she was browsing & it got on my arms off of her legs when I was milking her. I am very allergic - so I am a mess - in spite of the shot & the prednizone the Dr. gave me.

I have washed her udder really well - and cleaned her legs where I think I got it from. I figure she got into it last Weds.

Is there anything else I need to do? I really hope it has rubbed off of her & you will all tell me no - but I thought I would ask anyway! (I am wearing surgical gloves now when I milk. I hate that 'cause it makes it harder to tell what I am doing - course the fact that my hands are swollen from the poison ivy doesn't help....LOL!!)

Try to find some tech-nu to wash with. It does a great job on poison oak.
