Selling my goats in MN/questions

Due to the economy I am having to sell my goats, and rabbits. My question is where are the good sale barns and places to advertise them? I know that I am not going to make anything near what they are worth by going to an auction. But they are a good quality Nigerian Dwarfs and Kinder's. We've done blood testing for a number of years and the results have always been good. We've milked them all at one time or another. Never any problems with mastitis.

Should I try craigslist? Wat is a reasonable asking price for healthy ND's?

I am interested in your Kinder goats. I sent an e-mail. If you didn't get it please PM me here, or e-mail me from my website.

Well, I don't know about your area, but around here (West TN) good quality, registered Nigerian Dwarfs start around $300 for does and $100 for bucks. Wethers go for like $50-75. Even though blue eyes aren't considered any better than brown in the show ring, some people ask a little more for blue eyed ones. Polled also usually adds a little.

I'm picking up two Nigerian does this weekend, one is listed as $325, and she has 1x 1st in a show, and is polled. The other is listed as $350 and is preggers to a blue eyed, polled buck. (I say listed, because I went to look at them thinking I wanted 2 different ones based off the website, and fell in love with these two :baby04: When I asked how much the bred one was, she said $300 but her website says $350. I don't know if she just misquote it, or if she's taking less since I'm buying two. I guess I'll find out soon! lol.) They both have good show bloodlines, too.

Anyways, I hope this helps give you some idea. Good luck
