My Hat Is Off To Jeffers

So in light of the mysterious goat illnesses we had last week I went online to order some additional supplies and meds to have on hand. I generally rely on the vet, but he has been out of town and the new vet and I don't get along when she's there, and our local farm supply inventory is unpredictable at best. So I went to Jeffers and ordered several things to keep on hand late Thursday afternoon around 3pm or so and expected it later this week.

On Friday I ran to the farm store and got what I could not expecting to have my order for several days and I needed meds to treat asap. Well on Saturday we went out, and when we got back there was a package on my porch... my Jeffers order! I was floored. I did not pay for expedited shipping.
Also when I placed my order online Thurs. I put in the wrong expiration date on my CC. They immediately contacted me to let me know there was a problem and corrected it asap. I have to say I really am impressed by their service. I don't like their catalog, but their online inventory and better yet their descriptions are excellent. My hat is off to them!

I recently ordered some items from Jeffers; unfortunately, it took a little longer to get my order than it took to get yours. Of course, I placed my order right before the July 4 holiday and it still was all within a reasonable time frame.

I've generally been satisfied with Jeffers.

I'm getting ready to order some Ivomed Plus and found the best deal at Valley Vet. Has any anyone here had any experience with this company they'd like to share?

Valley Vet is a Kansas farm supply store. I have ordered from them many times with absolutely no problems with delivery or quality of merchandise. Nice folks.

Thanks! That's what I wanted to hear.

Their price on the Ivomec Plus is the best I found........plus free shipping.

In fact, if I were to buy the same item at my local feed store (Del's/TSC), it would cost me, with tax, around $20.00 more than VV's price.

Jeffers

I ordered Corid Friday morning, was delivered Fed-X on SAturday morning. Of course, Jeffers is only 90 miles away but I generally get next day service.

Janis, compare Noromectin Plus to your Ivomec Plus. Both have 1% Ivermectin and 10% Clorsulon and Noromectin is substantially cheaper. (500 mil $132.95 vs $185.95)

Yikes!

I just ordered Ivomec Plus from VV. Also, there was free shipping but a $6.00 "handling fee." *Sigh* They get you one way or another.

I'm going to go check out the price of Noromectin Plus. For future reference. (Edited to add: $4.00 less than Ivomec Plus at VV. Not enough to make me cry but enough to make me want to switch next time. Thanks for the head's up.)
