bleeding around scur--what should I do?

I just bought a yearling doe 2 weeks ago. She was properly disbudded on one side but there's a little stump of horn on the other side. Today I noticed blood in the hair around the stump. No swelling, it doesn't seem to be tender, and she is still eating and moving around just fine. I've cleaned it and applied iodine. I don't know if she was in a butting match with my pother doe (though that happened more often in the first few days, with no bleeding) or if she caught it on the wire grid fence after sticking her head out through the mesh. Is there anything I should watch for that might indicate a more serious problem? At this stage, what can I do about the stump?

Don't worry about it. Mine knock scurs off regularly in head-butting matches. They bleed, they grow back. No biggie.

If you want, you could try cauterizing the stump, but in my experience, they grow back anyway.
