Wow Minelson, your goats live better than many people I know.

They free roam your property? No flowers huh?

Feeder - I've made several of these. Some open on the top, some on the ends. I need to make the top opening less heavy on the next one I build.

One of the problems with doors on the ends.

Hoop house. This one failed because we used landscape timbers to hold the bottom edges instead of T Posts along the sides.

First Milk Stand. Subsequent ones have angled legs that attach in the center of the end boards underneath and make a wider base at ground level.

I have 2 of these hoop houses:

I have found (the hard way) that the goats cannot have access to the sides. This one is actually outside of their pen.
dimensions: 12' X 7'
3 livestock panels
a 12" X 16' tarp
"T" posts.....at each corner and at the "center" of each livestock panel.
This one has gone through storms with gusts of approx. 60 mph.

Yes they free roam...then they get in trouble with dh and they get banned to the cottage pen. That usually lasts about a day or 2 and then they are back out. Believe it or not we do have perenial flowers along the front and side of the house...I told them to eat them so they don't
And their luxurious accommodations are changing at the end of the month...we are moving The new place is older but still 10 acres. It will take me awhile to get things up to snuff for them.
