Found a bump...

My goat loving gossip network... found a mass in by left human breast today, that came up very suddenly.like yesterday.... I was able to see my obgyn today... and she thinks it might be cligged gland.... anyways, feeling better and will have to take heavy antibotics for the next week... and then have a detailed diagnostic mammogram next Tuesday... At this point I wish I was a goat and had to let my worries out... so I don't explode Thanks

I had a blocked duct when my youngest, now 20, was tiny.

I expressed the glands myself and used hot compresses. the yucky yellow stuff came out on its' own. I had a fever for about 24 hours and did not have to see a Dr.

I'd choose other things than antibiotics myself......

I know how scary that is! I had one once...it was some kind of cyst. Of course I found it on a Friday and couldn't get in until Monday...freaked me out! The doctor told me that caffiene can bring them on. I still drink coffee and haven't had another one since! Hugs to you. Keep us posted!

btw> was it on the inside of the breast, or the outside next to your arm pit?

If it is next to your arm pit, it is likely a fibroid which comes up really suddenly and is hormone driven- progesterone cream helps. go to moonmaidbotanicals.com to get her pro-meno cream- it is the best I have used. She also has a breast balm that works really well.

Also, fibroids are estrogen driven, so do not take clover based meno- capsules for hot flashes. Estrogen based hormones (premarin, etc.) for menopause bring on cancer tumors in the breast tissue.

Right under my nipple. Today I am running a high fever, the skin around the mass is red hot and swollen.. as miserable as I can humanly be... I have placed heat and cold on it.. helps a little but not much.

Ugh. Been there, done that. Yup, hot compresses and expression.

Gentle huggs!

Ach! I'm so sorry for you! I am a little confused. Are you lactating? Or is it just an infected cyst? If you are lactating, and this may help with the cyst too, you can put cold cabbage leaves, yes I said cold cabbage leaves, on your breast. Leave them there until the leaf withers, throw it away and put another on. I had Mastitus with my second and was soooo sick. A OB nurse told me to do this and it was gone in 12 hours. Works wonders!
Well vibes your way!
Kimberly~
