VAginal bleeding??

My ff freshened 1 wk tomorrow. And she was a little goopy down there for the first couple days, but then it cleared up. Today I turned her out for a bit of grazing, and my dog barked at her a bit just to make her run ...{like ol times} {though now she is a bit more on edge being a new mom}. But when I brought her in the barn I noticed she was bleeding... It had some clear discharge with it, it isn't solid blood.
Do you think she is ok?
Is she like us women where your not suppose to exert yourself for a while after birth to let things heal?
Or is this normal afterbirth bleeding?
I am so mad at the dog now!

My Gretta had discharge for weeks after giving birth...The extra exsercise may have just "pushed" some more out. If it's not really stinky and she is acting all right I would try not to worry.

Kreddish & Minelson both have it right, unless the smell is bad everything is normal.
She will bleed a little off & on for the next few weeks or so.
The only things to be aware of is bright red blood or bad odor akin to a slaughterhouse.

I am a birth doula so familiar with after birth protocols with humans... Glad to hear its normal. I would hate something bad to happen.
