Ozark Jewels..Emily are you okay?

they just broke in with a tornado on the ground report. Says there's one on the ground with debris ..... it was moving east crossing 17 at mt. view.. which I'm afraid might mean it went right over ya'll... let us know if you're safe (or if you have damage, we'll come help)

Just fine!! Thanks for asking. I was actually gone all day but asked the family and they said no problems here. So I didn't even know about it! It stormed hard last night.
I gotta run do chores but wanted to let you know I was ok.

GOOD.... this storm with the debris was only 20 minutes ago.. looks like it's going to be a really bad night AGAIN... we had a really defined wall cloud (with a doppler indicated tornado last night between us & Alton, around 8pm last night) I stood out front and watched it try to drop a tornado... a couple times, but thankfully it couldn't get going.
happy to hear you are all okay.. we had a small one hit about a month ago. We only had a bit of damage (front porch had to have all the screen replaced, lost some trees) but the neighbors got hit pretty hard. Lost part of their roof, their HUGE carport is still on it's side back in my woods. It flipped their greenhouse, a calf barn.. no one hurt, but lots of clean-up.

yes... and they were UNDER the big carport (which was well anchored) trying to tarp down wood, when it hit!! It lifted it straight up (or it would have killed them both) The carport went up, came back out direction, up above the tree tops, back their direction.. circled and hovered over their house..wobbled and headed back to our woods. It's in there still, with several trees stuck thru it. Their son saw it hit (as did my hubby) we all got really lucky. (it was the same storm front that hit Pomona. It kept spawning quick, short lived tornadoes) Neighbors to our N.W. got hit by a different one.. again.. at least it wasn't major damage.

yes!!! it was a scary morning. they came so close to being seriously hurt.. of course once the tornado was gone, the hail & rain hit.. they were missing part of their roof and it was just pouring in. We grabbed tarps & boads, ladders and such and headed over, the neighbors up the road came down, their son & daughter were there too... lots of hands, made quick work of getting the roof tarped and things put back where they belonged.
