Lung worms is a possibility.
Have you wormed within the last month with a wormer that also targets lungworms?

I bought a goat from some people who never used vaccines or any drugs on their goats. The goat started coughing as soon as I got her home. I wormed her with ivermec and took her to the vet. He said it was from the changing temperatures and that goats dont do well with extreme temp changes. He gave her a few shots of antibiotics..she got a bit better but 2 months later she still coughs. she is totally healthy otherwise...eats like a horse and is THE most active creature I have ever seen...hyper even!! so I have decided not to let it bother me anymore!
