How fast can their milk come in...?

I'm worried about one of my goats, we had the wrong date for her breeding so kids could be coming any day now. I haven't personally checked on her in 2 days beause well, I had an accident (due to my goats! lol) a few days ago and I am on bed rest now. It kills me not to check on them twice a day every day like always do--and I would but the only way i can get there is on my bike, and in my current condition that's not happening.

Anyways, last time I checked on her, her bag was maybe 1/3rd fuller then it normally would be . Normally it's really tight when they are about to kid, right? how fast can there milk come in though? I mean in a normal case would a goat suddenly go from a fairly full bag to a tight bag within two days, and then kid?

I am worried, because when she kids I am taking the kids home to be bottle raised. I am not to worried about her kidding herself though, she did really well her last and first time when she had 1 single healthy buckling with no assistance.

Some goats dont bag full till after they kid!!
If your pulling kids make sure they get their mothers colostrum for the first 25 hours!

Why do you want to take the kid/s? If milking I know some people do but if your not milking her out, it is best to leave the kid/s on teat as they are healthier, hardier, and grow best on the doe.

There milking goats with limited space, if I had more room for a proper weaning I would leave them on I would, but I don't... don't worry I know the importance of colostrum! I am milking mom every day twice a day for at least two weeks to give them as much fresh goat milk as they want. With some alfalfa and weeds to nibble on as well.
