Question about milk in doe

My 4 yr old doe has a small bag with white milk. The problem, no bucks. Now I know they can be precocious milkers...but after all these years? She had one kid at 7 months (yes, that's right).

Now the funny thing is our heifer is supposed to be bred and has a small bag, also. So I'm wondering if it is something nutritional going on? The heifer is only 4 months along (5 to go).

They've been feasting on fresh, new hay. And also fresh pasture with lots of red clover and other weeds (not a whole lot of grass, grass).

The doe is question eats very little before she's down & chewing her cud. Maybe just too much good, rich hay/grass?

It is possible that your doe is getting something that has hormones in it causing her to get precocious milk. It will eventually go away...I have a firend who has a doe that goes through a false pregnancy every year and gets milk...she gets all round and pregnant looking bags up and then deflates...weird
