mosquito control

Is there something I can use on my goats to protect them from mosquitos and ticks?

I was also going to post a thread about the same issue tonight. Usually I am one of those people that uses Avon's Skin so Soft. I mix a couple capfuls(about 1/4 cup) in a spray bottle & then finish filling with water. Just be sure to shake it up each use.
It works great on the mosquito's but was wondering if something else would be stronger & last longer.
This year was such a wet start I'm even getting bit in the sunshine with the wind blowing. They are going to be treacherous this year!
Any other suggestions?
My goats see the spray bottle & they run, you know since they hate to get wet.

I was wondering if there is something like Frontline that I use on my dog.

Minelson posted awile back about using frontline for goats. She checked with the vet she works for & he said it wouldn't hurt them but can't remember what he said as to wether it would work. I don't think it would do anything for the mosquito's but it would keep the ticks off I bet. Now you can buy it everywhere here too. Even our Menards had it on sale earlier this spring.
