Goat driving me insane still! any opinions?

well I posted back at the begining of April ( the 5th) that she had started to bag up. She was pen bred as I could not detect her heats. Well day 145 at the earliest was I believe April 9th and latest at 150 is May 23rd. I do have a couple of questions, is there a small edge on the pin bones? I feel something but it will not move at all. I will post some pictures and see what you all think they did not turn out great but kinds gimpy do to burning my hand last week. The only mucus so far that we have seen was about 1 to 2 inches of white mucous on last Tuesay Night.

PLease forgive the haircut the trimmers were running down and hubby needs to fix the charger.

All looks normal if she is having a single buck kid she could go over her due date by 10-14 days. If you keep feeling her udder morning and night the minute you feel it tight as a drum is when she will kid....everything else is collapsing normal...good luck.

My guess is that your May 23rd date is the one. That is ONLY 6 days away and BTW, she could got tomorrow at day 145 or anytime in between. Of course then there is always the one that will hang on and on and on...Keep us posted. Always love a guessing game.

well If she goes on the 21st she already has a name and I hope she doesn't keep that bun in the oven til Satyrday as I have to work I could take the babies to feed them but do not see me loading her into the back of the durango and then having her have the baby or babies ( thinking 1 hoping 2) in there and I refuse to let this be a boy it must be a girl it must be a girl it must be a girl it must be a girl it must be a girl it must be a girl....................... She is bred to an awesome looking red buck with LOTS of black and white spots.

If she's anything like my spotted does, she'll have plain doelings and if anyone has spots, it will be the buck kid. I'm hoping she does a better job for you. Yeah, the wonder of pen bred does. That's what I'm deaing with, too. I have one who looks to be due any day now. Another looks preggers, but is just starting to make the smallest of udders and is supposed to be due the last week of this month. The third doe has a tummy, but no sigh of an udder and I'm starting to suspect she may not have settled. Just not sure enough to send her to the auction tomorrow.

just came in from the late night check she seems to be unable to get comfortable legs tucked up underneath instead pf out to side, and is making noises when she breathes she was doing this last night but not as bad at all but I can alsmost feel for her, when she gets down her belly is almost 3/4 as wide as she is long. So tonight will be one of those nights that I am up at all hours then I have to take son back to school early in the morning. She was not off her feed today but was very very grumpy not to humans but to her pen mate that she usually loves so we shall see what happens.

Hope you get some pretty girls...tho my spotted Nub gave me a plain brown girl and a fantastically spotted buck!

Good luck!!!

Well looked at the calander and realized I was a day off the buck died (was found ) the early AM on Christmas eve so I am thinking the 23rd was last possible breed date. Which makes her due tomorrow. However Every time I go out to check her she is back in the barn last time I came into the house I watched as I walked away and she went straight to the barn OMG finally think I am there and at least one stresser will be gone. Upper part of udder has the drum like feel to it.

this second one shows a little bit from how much thicker it has gotten but not too well everytime I moved to get a side view she turned.

That udder is huge compared to the first pics you posted....definately hearing the patter of little kid feet.

I hope tonight spent the better part of the day outside doing several outside chores she spent almost the entire day inside her goat shed. Then came out to the pen to visit when we were out sitting there we had to seperate her and her pen mate, a doeling we had bought at the same time that she took under her wing, as she was being very queen like today. There has been a couple of white goop times off and on during the day but that is about it. She has been checked on every 15 to 20 minutes throughout the day. If anything the udder is even bigger nad harder then earlier today. Kinda glad she held off during the day as I have huge hands and my left hand is bandaged so SIL will be going in if needed.
