Nigerian Dwarfs in Northecentral/Northeastern Ohio?

I believe I have decided that Nigerian Dwarfs will be the best fit for us. However, I can't seem to find any breeders on-line that are in my area. Do any of you fine goat folks have any leads for me? I probably won't be ready for them until next spring, but I'd like to find a healthy herd and check them out before I'm ready for them.

Thanks!

P.S. We are in Ashland County, but are very close to Wayne County in case that helps.

Hi, search for Buttin' Heads. They are in OH and have good quality animals. Or you can check with Kaapio Acres, out of MI, they travel quite a bit and deliver, EXCELLENT quality animals. Just search for the herd names.

Good luck!

I sent them an e-mail last night with a bunch of questions...hope I don't scare them...hee hee hee.

I think I'm just going to start with just one doe and a wether, but I'm not making any promises. I figure it's better to start slow than to wish I had.

Well, I've loved them for quite a while, but didn't have anywhere to put them. We moved to our farm last spring, so now we have plenty of room!
