Here they are. The black one is Gytha Ogg, most likely a dwarf Nigerian. The Nubian mix is Mr. Goatberger.
When they aren't so nervous, I will post more pictures. Mr. Goatberger is very upset, looking for his Mama right now.
I may let my son keep him as a draft/pack animal. He's a gorgeous little guy!

Where's Esme Weatherwax? :banana02:

So what's the story? Have you just acquired these two? They look nice. It's a little hard to tell, but Mr. Goatberger looks pure Nubian to me!

Mr Goatberger's mom is mostly Nubian with some Alpine. The owner didn't know what she'd been bred to, but I'm suspecting it was a Nubian buck, to look at him. I'm still looking for an Esme.
Gytha is incredibly sweet and gentle, if a little shy.
These were delivered at 3pm today.

they're beautifull, I know you're proud of them. He really looks good, like he would make a buck some day.

Sounds more like a "Magrat" to me. Gytha should be loud and jolly.

I had a Nigerian Dwarf buck named Casanunda.

We have a hideous grey tomcat that comes around here that we call Greebo.

Hehe- I've "pre-named" our next wether Mustrum Ridcully. We have a rabbit named Rincewind. My cat is preggers, and DH said we could keep a male from the litter- he will be Greebo. *sigh* I'm obsessed.
It makes me sad to think there are people in the world who haven't discovered Discworld yet.

Indeed.

I'm thinking "Daft Wully" would be a wonderful name for a sheep. Oh, and I have friends down in Boston who have actually danced the Dark Morris. I, myself, have danced the Stick and Bucket Dance - and lived to tell the tale!
