Electric fenceing

Would electric fencing work for goats? I am talking dwarf nigerian goats. We are trying to look at options and my FIL used electric fencing for a goat they had. He would jump it, but i am woundering if that is because he was the only goat? Would it work for a small heard of 2-3 goats?

It would be easier for us and the goats if it would, because we could move them around for grazing and brush.

Electric NET fencing works. We tried electric wire strands with the first goats we had, and they'd just skin right through it. The electric net has stopped that. Easy to set up, easy to move.

I use 1 1/2" electric tape. It has to be at least 3 strands to work well.

Electric fence will work for goats if done properly and not skimped on.

I have woven wire with a strand of electric on the bottom. Works not only to keep goats in but predators out too.
