New to browse question

So, the gkids I am looking into are not on anything green.. just hay and (horrors) sweet feed that they nibble as they are weaning. How does one introduce them to the lush joys of honeysuckle and weeds?
I am guessing a twig a day for awhile or what??
Help.

Short times browsing per day. 30 minutes or so at first. Work up slowly.

Yep, that would definitely help. You might even start cutting some and bringing it in to them so that they recognize it as food before they start going out, and also so they can get accustomed to it.

Slowly start introducing them to the vegetation you plan to feed them, and reduse the amount of sweet feed.

Yeah, I am not happy about all of the sweet feed. Maybe the momma does would look more like their respective breeds without the 2 or 3 scoops of sweet feed everyday.
They are hefty girls.
