Is this a big Udder problem?

My DS has a doe, Bianca. She is about 3 weeks fresh. She is the one that had preemies. I posted a while back about her having little bumps and what felt like fat tissue on her udder where the teat and udder came together. Someone, I can't remember who at the moment, said it was a porous udder. That seemed to make sense and on we went. Well, today, while milking her I noticed a hard knot among all the fatty tissue. I kinda massaged it a bit and in another spot a clear yellowish liquid began to ooze and then a harder whitish substance came out, I would normally say thick pus, but I guess it could have been milk that had been stored in those bumps. See, when I milk her, milk will come out of those bumps. and usually they will reduce in size after that, only to get bigger again. What can I do or is there anything I can do about this and what in the world was the clear liquid?

I remember from a previous post of Vicki's that goats have lube glands around the base of their teats, like human females have small oil glands around their nipples.

Sounds like they are getting plugged. Clear stuff is fresh lube. Thick is what has built up.

So what do I do, keep massaging her udder and working with it? Will that get it cleared up. I was just worried that it was infection. The udder isn't hot and she isn't sensitive when I mess with it. It was weird that I found a hard lump and massaged it and this fluid leaks out in other places. Glad to know it isn't infection.

I would consider the possibility of the bumps being smaller supernumary teats.

I can't remember from your last thread if you posted this or not, but has she been tested for CAE and CL? Was there an odor to the exudate?

No smell. I have a closed herd, no CL or CAE. Otherwise, very healthy. Just haven't seen anything like this and wondered if anyone else had it. I did a little research and found weeping teats and that sorta describes it and I think the hard nodule I discovered is a cyst. So, if this is the case, what do I need to do?
