clipping question.

they have desided to allow mick to show, I clipped our wether to what i hope is the right way, but dont know what you really need to do with a buck, (boer) any help would be great, we have to have this done by 7pm and im getting nervous and cant even have a glass of wine..lol

I don't know what kind of show you are going to be in but Boers are usually not clipped. Just trim around hoofs and hairs sticking out here and there and you are done.

I usually bath with blue shampoo that really brings out the white, then spray with Show Sheen for horses to keep it that way.

Also, some judges like to see them shown like lambs, with the person holding their heads instead of walking on the leash.

I didn't show professionally, just to the fair but we did have rated Boer shows there.

We just got back from the vets and both had a clean bill of health, not that the exam was that intensive.
I thought all you did with them is tidy them up, thank you for responding.
