Need to reworm, is it safe

I wormed my goats with ivermectin and didn't get all the worms (according to a stool sample). How soon can I reworm with the cydectin the vet gave me?

Just curious, if the vet gave you wormer why not just call and ask the vet?

When did you originally worm them and with what kind, paste or the injectable, orally?

I found the paste, even with the recommended triple dose, doesn't work as well as the injectable given orally.

What kind of worms got missed? Did the vet say they are resistant or just under wormed?

Because I lost the doe and that I took to him and really don't wanna talk about that at the moment!

I wormed with paste on Friday. They are resistance worms He said they call them hot complex or something like that. They also had a name that started with H.

Thanks, I'll wait worm on Wednesday then.

she didn't die of worms, she did of indigestion of unknown causes. The worms were secondary.

It will hurt nothing to give wormer on the same day. HC worms are blood sucking worms Haemoncus Contortus is that what you meant? Other than the 4th arrested stage they aren't controlled with Ivermectin.

There are actually cocktail wormers you can give, like Levamisole and fendbendozole etc...so worming even the next day is safe with any wormer, especially if it didn't work. Vicki

ok, didn't know if there was a waiting period after using one and then using a different one. They will be wormed first thing in the morning.
