Tick repellant for milking goat

Hi,

We recently dove into being a goat owner (Nigerian Dwarf) and have plans on breeding the female and then using her for milking.

We are also nervous about allowing ticks to get a foothold on our little property.

Can we use normal anti-tick products like Hartz ultraguard, etc, on the female when we plan on using her milk?

If not, then what natural remedy would we use to avoid tainting or changing flavor on the milk (if we feed her something to repel ticks)?

Thx

This may sound strange, but we live in the heart of the Ozark tick country, and our goats don't get ticks. Dunno why.

The best tick repellent ever is all natural, although maybe a little loud.
GUINEAS!! To keep down on the noise we try not to have more than 5 on our 10 acres.
We have not seen a tick since our first year here when we did NOT have guineas. Havent seen a snake since then either.
Also, it was mostly the dogs who had ticks, very rarely seen on the goats.
