What I discovered is that the age of the buck(ling) isn't the only factor.
I tried to use a yearling buck on my older does, and they wouldn't have anything to do with him!!
From what I've read, the bucklings are fertile young, but your does' experience will also be important.
If you are asking when to get him out of the pen with the ladies, then as soon as he's weaned.... again, from what I've read. We haven't had a buck born on our place yet.
