Suburban Goats?

Is everyone on the countryside here, or is anyone else keeping goats in the Suburbs?

I live in a pretty normal suburban neighborhood in AZ. I was thrilled when I read the Chapters and Ordinances for our area and discovered the only requirement was that housing be 20 feet from human habitation.

So... am I the only one? Any other Suburban/Urban homesteaders? (Goats are just my next step )

I live in the suburbs, fortunately not in a cookie cutter, cul-de-sac sort of neighborhood, though. I have neighbors on either side of me and more neighbors down the road on either side. It is a more rural, agricultural suburb. My lot is double deep and I keep my chickens, turkeys, rabbits and goats toward the back of the lot. Our organic garden raised beds are also toward the back.
I currently have 13 goats, 4 turkeys, 3 pet rabbits and 100+- chickens.

I have mine in a housing development in a suburb of San Francisco. The only reason I can have them is because I get a waiver from the county. I have a back yard that goes down into a big valley and an acre of it is mine some belong to my neighbor and the rest belongs to the county and I keep mine and theirs clean with the goats. The county doesn't have to worry about the fire danger and I get to keep my goats.
