I would bring them in just for my piece of mind.

How old are they? I think they should be fine, 54 isn't very cold.

54 is not cold at all, they should do just fine they have each other to cuddle with.
Just make sure the front of the crate is faced away from any wind.

i picked them up this past week end one was about a week old the other a few days old, so one is a little over a week and the other is about 2 weeks the more i think on it, the more i suspect i'll bring them in when i give them their last bottle of the night

My house is colder than 54 degrees! Water freezes in my barn - my newborns do fine.

Wimpy southerners.

If it gets to 65 in the house, I'm sweating and peeling off layers.

Ahhh, 54 degrees...time to break out the tanning lotion!

Seriously, though, if your goaties are used to warmer weather, this could be a shock to them at such a young age, they might not be able to compensate. I'd agree with bringing them in, but we all know I am a wimp about my goats! They'd be in bed with me, curled up on some pillows with popcorn and TV. But I am firm, they would NOT get the remote. I do have my limits.

Seriously, I hope you guys fared well.

And by the way...did I miss the mandatory pictures of the little guys? You know it is not fair to keep all that cuteness to yourself!

Mine do well in some temps and I can just wish for 54 around here...had some born when the wind chill factor was 0 and they did fine...as long as they ahve straw to snuggle down in a a buddy to keep warm they should be fine and I do have 1 in the house in a crate but her mom rejected her so no mom or buddy to keep her warm. When she gets to be a month old she will go outside.

I can hardly wait for 54 degree's here too, I think they'd be fine with plenty of bedding & facing out of the wind but you might not get much sleep worrying about them.
Where are the baby pictures?

It only got down to about 17 I think last night. Supposed to stay about 30-32 tonight. I think spring is finally coming!! I'm not sure who's more excited, me, the rabbits or the goats!
