i have a 9 month old doe that has some vaginal disgharge. i went out to feed them yesterday when i noticed this. it was clear and white kind of mixed. it was just like a glob but she also had a string of it hanging down. she just went out of heat last thursday. she has not been with the bucks. what could this be?

That is heat related. If I am not mistaken that is the end part of the heat cycle (heat is 1-3 days)

I am not as experienced as other people but I have had a doe go into heat a week after she was in heat. For instance, there is my Molly, she was in standing heat for the buck and a week later did it again. I have a friend who had her does in heat and took them to a breeder and a week later she had to return again because they went back into heat again. I'd say she probably went back into heat but I couldn't tell you why or anything technical

It probly does have to do with her heat cycle. It's hard to say for sure but that would be my guess too. If she hasn't been with a buck & is acting normal & eating, etc. no blood and that kind of thing then I wouldn't worry. Just watch her for a day or 2 & porobly she'll be fine.

good news! turns out, she is back in heat. yesterday, she was wagging her tail a lot and was puffy back there. she was over by the fence flirting with the bucks all day. glad that was all it was. ive never had one come back in to heat like that but i guess there's nothing to worry about.
