Tiz whiz goat feed has cottonseed in it as well as corn oats and barely yet my goats lost weight on it feeding in compairason with cob boss and alfalfa pellets with free choice normal hay and raitioned alfalfa hay.
I have been asking around the boer goat people who have these massive bucks and they say feed them an all you can eat pellet grain/hay buffet with apple cider in the water, however I have not gotten that brave.
Off to milk my doe, or rather try too.

Cottonseed hulls are of course very high in protein and fiber. Corn is very high in fat and energy, with alfalfa hay for it's calcium you still really would need a carbohydrate like oats, but yes it would make a really nice trio of cottonseed hulls (which my does love) corn and oats. Know how much cottonseed you need to improve your oats and corn and hay up to the percentage you want, it's expensive to pee out extra protein and extra protien also binds the calcium your does need. With feeding only raw products, also make sure your minerals are top notch for you area since they won't be getting extra in the grain ration. Vicki
