one week left...

My first kids are coming soon!! Her ligs are soft but there. The udder is ready to burst lol...

This morning her discharge (its frozen by the time i see it) is red. I am getting so excited! no bad weather for the next 10 days except maybe a bit of ice/rain but it won't bother us none.

From when you get a bit of bloody discharge, how much longer can it be? Shes due next Thursday.. Shes 5-6 years old and this isn't her first kidding. Her kids are big enough that they are pushing out the bottom of her belly instead of it being smooth, its lumpy and the lumps kick me. Shes a Nubian/Togg ..

Any guesses? I will get pics up soon

Well I cannot be positive it is red or if the one area is just frozen Its where the discharge would go and its just bright red. I suppose she could just be frost bitten a little bit. She has had a few days of light brown from there but we have been 0-10 degrees as overnight lows for the last few weeks. I haven't seen anything that wasn't crystalized or frozen

im pretty sure its not supposed to be red. put a glove on and feel if the goop is "bloody feeling" and as far as the light brown, im pretty sure its supposed to be white or a clear/grey color. If i were you i would look on fiasco farms website, under kidding, pre/post. Its helped me figure out whats normal and whats not
