False Heat????

Is it common for young doe's that have never kidded yet to have a false heat? I have 2 young doe's that I was almost positive were bred on there last yeat cycle, Buck threw his head back, Doe's both arched there back's & one doe even started running around like she was so excited after arching her back & standing still a minute.
This is my buck that had UC a year ago & had to have his pizzle cut off but he has bred my other doe's on the heat cycle I put them together. My older doe's are now 2 1/2 months along & have never acted like they were in heat again after breeding this last November.
Just wondered if anyone else ever noticed anything like this with young doe's?
I guess I'll find out in about 2-3 more weeks.

Sometimes they just dont take right away, no matter what age.
I always repeat the pairings to be sure. The doe if not bred will cycle again in 21 days if its during their season. Some season all year and others fall thru winter.

I have Nigerian's so they season all year, but these 2 are done if they didn't take this last time since I don't want kids to late in the summer. It is kinda frustrating though since I have never had this problem before. DH was wanting to blame the buck & if he couldn't do his job he wanted to put him down, But he has bred my older doe's I'm sure & he's such a nice buck, I really like him.
