We had babies yesterday!
Our first freshener went into labor and gave birth to twins yesterday evening, a buck and a doe. She did extremely well and was so excited that as she was pushing the first one out she was trying to lick our hands and arms. She took right to her her babies and let them nurse with no problems. Momma is 50% Boer 50% Nubian and the daddy is a pygmy buck. Next fall we will have a nice Nubian buck to put our does with.

Here are a few quick pics I snapped of them yesterday evening. The doeling is the darker one.

Oh yes, she tried to lick the color off their fur. She adores her babies.
