Ozark Jewels 2009 Kid Picture Thread
I'll just update this thread when new kids are born. This way I don't start multiple kid picture threads.
Here are Crystals twin does(one is for sale). Born yesterday.
And Joys buck and doe twins(doe for sale).
I don't have a dry picture of the buckling. He is already at his new home. Here he is just a few minutes old.
All the girls hanging out with me this morning while it snowed outside.

I looked you up on the map. If you are south of RA out farms are only about 1 1/2 miles apart My place is on CR 1990 on the north side of the highway just before you get to Hutton Valley. I am only 1/2 mile off hwy. Would love to meet you. I think your around my sons age. I have one steer, 2 sheep, 4 angora rabbits 3 dogs and will get some chickens once I am out there. Trying to get there in April. I have a house in Mountain View right now. I just looked at your photo bucket and wow are those flood pic's from the place your at now? Your animals all sure look good. I just love baby goats!!

They are sure sweet - love those Nubian ears, but I think I'll stick to my LMs - not so noisy, lol! That little buckling has awesome spots - I've always loved broken black and white (in rabbits, goats, you name it). Good idea to have just one thread for kid pics - I should do that....

Bess's doeling(available). Not sure why this picture turned out the way it did, it does not do her justice, she is lovely:
Cherry always gives me beautiful percentage kids so I was very excited to get triplet does from her. She raises wonderful triplets but this year freshened with just one working teat for some reason. I pulled one doeling so that they all get plenty of milk.
Cherry's daughter who is on the lambar(retained in my herd):
Cherry's two other doelings(available at weaning):

2nd Mulberry buckling(who would not pose! And no, his ear is caught on a twig, not curled. available)
The kid pen on their first day outside.

Tootsie had two boys and a girl at noon today. I pulled the doeling to raise on the lambar. All are technically paints since they all have red on their legs, but only one boy is really painted up.
The lazy way to eat:
The Fullblood paint buckling(available at weaning):
The 2nd Fullblood buckling(available at weaning):
The Fullblood doeling(retained in my herd):
