New Baby Goatie

Hi all! We had our first ever kidding tonight. :banana02: We have one little (big?) buckling. I'm not sure if she's going to have another one... I don't think so though. So exciting for us. He'll be for sale if anyone is looking for a buckling. He can be registered Grade. His dam is 75% Alpine and dad is a full Alpine. She is a FF so no production history, etc. on her.

So cute! They usually only have one if they are a FF. Hope he does very well for you!

He doesn't look too impressed with life on the outside so far! He's a cutie.

Just a quick correction - if you are talking ADGA, he cannot be recorded...only the does can be recorded grades and bred up to American status (or to purebred in the case of LaManchas, for instance). Bucks have to be from registered parents on both sides of the pedigree.

Love the tongue sticking out! Congrats on your first kidding.

Oh, yes that's right. Sorry, I'm still pretty new to the goat business. LOL I have 3 younger does (Alpines) that will be bred this spring. Ok, so he's just a non papered guy then! LOL But I don't think he cares. He's pretty cute and him and mama are doing great. Thanks for looking, sorry the picture is so big.
