Mine got inside once and ruined a new king sized mattress. The goats were soon gotton rid of until we (I) fixed the fence per momma. when she ain't happy we all can't be happy. The kids thought it was funny MLW did not.

LOL. DH has been known to put one of our goats on a leash and bring him into the kitchen to say good morning to me. His mother would faint if she knew this.

I did threaten two nights ago to put them in the mudroom as the temps were getting really cold, but he drew the line at that. I tease him that in a perfect world, we'd have a little barn attached to the house, with a sliding glass door between the barn and the family room. :banana02:

Careful with those space heaters. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...SwYDwD95N6BUO0

Our goats are still outside in the goat barn. It would be pretty tough to bring 27 of them inside.

I have 2 bottle babies in the house. DH kinda likes it so he doesn't complain. We raised his prized Boer buckling in the house last year. Put a diaper on the little guys and they are just like puppies.

My DH has a "Special" goat that he lets in on a regular basis. She needs her crackers he says. When she was little he would bring her in and let her watch football with him while relaxing on the couch.

When the babies have been born and we lost the mother, or they needed warmed up or bottle fed we have been know to have several in the bathtub!!

No water!! But it is very easy to clean and the babies like running around the bathroom while I clean the tub!!!

They were just fine, as everyone kept telling me It got to 5° last night, and I bundled up to go check on them around 11pm. They were aallll fuzzed up and chewing cud, looking at me like "what are you doing out here in the middle of the night?!" Or maybe they were just staring at my baseball cap/earmuffs combo Anyway, I demonstrated all the new cozy spots we'd made for them and went in for the night. Far as I can tell, they were perfectly happy sleeping in the middle of the stall, not in their house. Ah well. They've been drinking gallons of hot water, though.

I think you were right. If I'd told them NOT to go into any of the cozy corners or hidey-holes I made for them, they'd have been all over it. Stubborn twerps.

We raised a Nigerian Dwarf doeling in the house. Now, as an adult, she feels free to stroll right in through the front door if it is ever left open.

My two bottle babies have been living in my dog's kennel (poor Roscoe). I finally got them moved out to a pen and dog house. Then the very very cold weather set in...poor cold shivering babies. shivering!!! I put them in a spare dog carrier until it warmed up again (you got to love living in Kansas). I don't have a husband to complain and my adult sons have seen me do this too many times to even comment.
Gidget and Gadget are back outside but if it gets bad well....I still have the carrier in the house nice and warm and ready for them. I collect raggetty towels just for my babies comfort.

I don't ask him, if I need to bring one in, I do so. He knows they will go back to the barn as soon as possible. Not like the cats which never go outside. He brought those in.
