Due Jan 20th

My girl is due on the 20th. She is looking sleek and and ready. I clipped her belly and trimmed her houves last week.

The last two days when feeding her on the milking stand I have felt the baby(ies) bump.

She is a FF and I am really excited. All four of my girls are FF.

Yes, I am hoping that it removes the stress of starting a new routine. One thing I have noticed about goats is they love routine.

Today she is much more affectionate than usual and she is walking very stiff legged. She is stargazing some and hanging around the barn. It is coming soon.

She settled into the kidding pen today, for about 30 minutes she flipped out. She is snug in her new straw.....I see the need for a barn camera now.

I think that the ligaments are two things that I thought were bones running down her back hips and they are still there. She was due yesterday not today MLW informed me this morning at the breakfast table. I am still waiting.

Her teats are getting bigger, but the udder is relatively the same size.

Still waiting and nothing, I hope Dorkweed didn't jinx my girls.

All you can do is be ready, keep checking and wait. Gretta's udder didn't get much bigger until she went into labor....then it got real big. Keep us posted

Her ligaments ae soft this morning, but I can still find them. Her vulva is a little open this morning. Yahoo!

Maybe today, but I'll not get my hopes up.

She ate like a horse yesterday and this morning. She finished off her grain and then looked at me like "Is that all?" She is eating a little more than 2 lbs. a day. I started her out on less than a lb in early december and all my girls get about 3/4 lb. Then at the first of Janruary I started creeping her up to where she is now. Some days she would cough when I raised the feed rate, then I would cut her back a little bit and the cough would go away.

Man I hope she waits until this evening to go.

Sounds like you're close. Probably within the next day or so. Hope all goes well. Make sure you post pics when the kids arrive.

Still waiting. Her ligaments are very soft now. She has hollowed out to where she does not look preggo anymore. She and I took a nap in the barn on the soft straw this afternoon for about an hour.
