Smile I'm back......mostly.

Well, I've been offline/off-forum for about a month or more now due to new responsibilities here at the dairy, getting ready for winter calvings, company over the holdidays, etc.
Company is gone, things have slowed a *bit* at the dairy, calves are still being born.....but I am back!
And getting ready for kids coming in about 2 weeks. Getting the back room cleaned up and ready in case we have serious bad weather at kidding time. Cleaning out the kid sheds, bedding everything deeply. The does just got their pre-kidding CDT and Bose a few days ago. Amazing how most of them love me till they see a needle. Everyone is looking very big, low and round. I am hoping for more twins than triplets this year though. I'm busy enough already without more kids than I need! Udders are starting to fill and I'm starting to get excited.
I am taking orders/deposits on kids at this time. I will have healthy purebred registered Nubian doelings and bucklings available. Also grade and purebred Lamanchas. And of course %, Purebred and Fullblood Boers. I can put together starter herds. I give a discount at 3 kids or more. All does and kid prices can be seen on my site. All good milk stock, some show-quality.
Hi all and its good to be back!!

Good luck with all your babies!! I wish you were closer. I'm having a hard time finding good doelings in my area.

Thanks Ya'll. The girls said they wanted to say "Hi" as well. Here they are sunning their fat butts today. I'm hoping some of the older gals will take a break from their usual crop of triplets and give me twins.

THERE you are! I had wondered why we hadn't seen you post for quite a while. Glad to hear all is well and kids are on the way. We have 5 does due the 19-21st, so about a week away from kid watch! Lots of big, round bellies full of kicks - dd has been spending time every day sitting in the bedding with one doe or another on her lap, just loving on them and feeling kids kicking her through mommas' bellies. I just love this time of year.

Wow, look at the size of that Boer momma in the 4th pic - that doesn't look like twins to me, lol. More like quads! You have lovely, healthy looking girls, and they sure are enjoying the sunshine. Wish we could see a little of that here - it's been pouring rain here for a week, about 8" so far. Lots of flooding all around, but thankfully, we are safely high and dry. My girls are all dry lotted in the barn, staying in out of the wet. Even Holly, our GP, is perched on top the hay bales in the barn, dry, and keeping a close eye on things from on high, lol. That is one cute GP puppy in the 3rd pic. I'm still looking for a male to team up with my female. I would really like to have a litter of pups this year - Holly is such an awesome asset to our farm that I'd like to keep her line going.

Noooooooooo!!! Triplets would be ok, but I am not terribly fond of quads. Never had trouble with quads, but I would rather have triplets. This year I'd rather have twins!
