Worming freshened does

Howdy...what wormers do folks recommend for worming does who've just freshened? I used Valbazan today on my two doe who kidded yesterday and the day before. Do others do the 3 wormings spaced out 10 days apart? In the past I have not done that, but am curious to see what others think.
PS I'm not a newbie, just flying under the radar a bit from a well-meaning but overly curious neighbor. If you look at my username, you might recognize me; I just don't want to be the middle man when one party sees a post of mine about another friend and calls to see WHO it was. I've been silent on HT for a few weeks now while I figured out what to do.

Valbazen only gets tapes and 4th stage HC larve, liver flukes and lungworms...so in essence you did no stomach worm wormings on your doe. Purchase some Cydectin cattle pouron and use it at 1cc per 22 pounds orally...or if you only have a few goats, purchase a horse paste tube of Quest and use it at 1cc per 100 pounds orally. No reason to redo either of the wormings. It's safe to redo the cydectin or Quest tommorrow, in fact it can be used very sucessfully at the same time you give the Valbazen to grown does. The Valbazen will be an excellent wormer for the kids in spring. vicki

Please use the search function to check the archives on this topic. There are differing opinions on how to use de-wormers and you will get a broader picture if you read some of the past discussions. This way we don't have to rehash it and see all the attacks for warning folks about dangerous misuse of certain chemical formulations.

only want to add, do a fecal check to see what you are dealing with and if the wormer of your choice is working who knows, maybe your doe doesn't even need a different wormer?
