I got a new goat today, the brown and white one, not sure what she is but im going to try and get a facial shot as I cant quite place my finger of what shes proably a cross of. She was bred 2 years ago and the guy gave her cydectin and she aborted and never concieved again, but shes a great pet.

Nice goats. The new one looks like she's Boer crossed with a Swiss breed, maybe Alpine.

The brown and white ones looks almost identical to a nubian sanaan cross I used to have. I didn't see her face, but the ears and all else, I had to look hard as I sold her last year and she is a twin to Blanche.

I do hope nubie is a dairy cross, though she has not had kids for her previous owner Im really hoping she mated with his pure nubian that he bought from a local dairy farm, as that would be totally awesome! But if she stays a pet thats ok too, shes a pretty gal and ill just put her with the NDs Ill be getting this spring.

I googled Cannon Farms the other day and so many responces came up Im thinking about changing to The big little farm, we will have big and little goats, we are doing big things with little amount of land, and nothing better has came to mind.

She is very pretty, the way her ears go forward puts me in mind of a Boer/Kiko cross. I use Cydectin on my pregnant does. I will worm them at 1 month pregnant then again the day after kidding, NEVER had a problem with it.

Mick looks happy. All of them look good.Maybe Mick will get the new girl pregnant.I had one ,when I first got my goats, that got real wormy and anemic and she miscarried. It may not have been because of the cydectin but a sick goat.I use cydectin on my pregnant does if they need it and have never had a problem. The only wormer I have heard causes abortion is Valbazen. It also took her a season off to recover. She has had 2 nice healthy pregnancies since.
