Sandy is gone

I sat with her and hugged her as she went to the Rainbow Bridge. She is at peace now. She'll be buried here at the farm.

Thank you for all your advice and support. In the end, it was something more than I could fix. I take comfort in knowing she is running around now.

In case you didn't see my post on the other thread....
You did everything possible for her. I know how hard this is and how awful you feel and there is nothing you can do but get through it as best as you can. Sandy will be at peace and playing and running in heaven...happily waiting to be joined with you again. hugs to you...and check in for more hugs and support if you need

Oh, I'm so sorry

Know that you did everything possible for her and you couldn't have been a better friend and supporter. She's up there kicking up her heels and doing all those funny twists that goaties do, feeling great and appreciating the love and compassion you had for her.

RIP, dear Sandy. You were a great goat.

This part of farming sucks. It hurts so much to lose one you love.

Sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye. I'm sure she felt that you cared for her with all the fussing over her.

Sorry for your loss. You did your best for her. We all have to let go of beloved pets and it's never easy. Take care. Kathie

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost her. I read your posts and I know you tried everything in your power to save her. Take comfort in knowing that she's free of suffering now, and remember the good times she had with you.

Did you consider getting a necropsy? It might have nailed down just what you were dealing with. Again, many condolences on your loss.
