Oh, I really like Kinders. I bred my own last season. Yours are really cute - love those ears. Where in Missouri did you get them?

Are these your first goats? Congratulations!

Yes both does, Camille is the three year old and Nina is the yearling. They came from Lisa Lamm out of Colombia. I had a pygmy goat growing up but that is it so I hope everyone is ready to help me out!!

Are they bred? Do you plan to milk them? Tons & tons of good info right here on this board. But, then, I'm sure you've been doing tons of research in preparing for your girls.

Kinders are the progeny of a Pygmy sire and a Nubian dam. Those ears ARE darned cute, aren't they?

Cross between a Pygmy and Nubian. They are bred well one for sure! I do plan to milk but also use for meat. I have done tons of reading and talked to many Kinder breeders but there is always so much more to learn.

I live in central Wisconsin near Stevens Point. There were three of us from Wisconsin that wanted a good line of Kinders (tested negative for cl/cae.) One is North of me two hours and one is south of me two hours. None of us has ever raised goats before so we are very excited on hopefully producing a good Kinder herd in Wisconsin. I actually didn't take the picture it was one of the other girls when she came to get her two yearlings and sent it to me but I do know how to use mine and post pics!
