Marking Harness Question...

Could someone describe how this should be put on the buck? It didn't come with any instructions...

Thanks much

It straps on so that the marker is on the bucks chest. Sort of where his front legs are. Hope that helps. Maybe someone else will chime in that can explain it better.

It will take awhile to load. Also keep in mind, I never did see instructions on how these things are supposed to be put on!
I have five bucks with harnesses right now and could still use two more, happily. Rudy, the Polled Nubian buck in the photo, is wearing his blue harness again. He is three years old now.

Thank you! Your tutorial was extremely helpful. I wasn't sure what to do with straps B & C. I've been trying it on the dog (poor, confused thing) but I get my buck tonight and needed to make sure I knew what I was doing.

Thanks again,

RedTartan

LOL - I know where you're coming from! We got ours in the mail, I took one look at it and yelled - there's no directions! It took us about an hour to figure out how to get it on - never thought about trying it out on the dog first! I was all stinky (buck stinky) by the time we got it on. I still don't know if it was on correctly, but we have a whole herd of smurfs now! Good luck - what color are your girls gonna be?

Blue. He's out there now. My three girls are all excited! He doesn't look very big compared to them, but the vet assures me that he'll get it done. I'm not going back into the pasture until tomorrow. My girls are peeing everywhere, nuzzling him, mounting each other. LOL. My herd queen pressed her forehead against mine and gazed into my eyes as if to say, "Thank you. He's lovely."
