Plant ID, Am I goat friendly?

This yellow flower is growing all over the place. Is it goat friendly. Jacob was tasting it yesterday and seems to have no ill affects but he only ate a little. They seem to pop up overnight and the bees love them. If they are goat friendly I will let them eat them, otherwise DH will have to eradicate them as I am deathly allergic to bees.

This is 'goldenrod' or, 'Solidago'. We have it too. I googled it for being toxic to goats, and it said it's only 'mildly toxic, but animals suffer no ill effects.' I know our goats have (tasted) it too, but decided they don't like it, and now leave it be.
Since goats are browsers, they'll taste a variety of things, but only eat some of them. I know the deer don't eat the goldenrod that grows around here...
I bet if you watch your goat, you'll see he's not eating it after his initial 'taste test'.
