Arrow Pycazz

Thought I'd clarify that the purpose of Pycazz goats is to get 2 clippings or brushing of cashmere fiber a year and usaully more of it as the average cashmere harvest is 5-8 oz a year. The fiber is also as fine as cashmere and no more than 22 microns thick, finer than Pygora. There are quite a few listings regarding Pycazz if you search Google. These are superior goats in many ways, but look at the sites of new Pycazz owners. Also, they were first called Cashpygora, but the Pygora people demanded a name that didn't have Pygora in it so hence Pycazz. It is fancy, but then this is a great and beautiful new fiber. Pycazz site is www;hometothefarm.com

Pherae,
I really hate to tell you that pycazz in NOT NEAR AS FINE as Cashmere. By the time one of our goats Micron count is 20 they are culled. That is NOT cashmere type fiber anymore. Anything above 19 is No longer fine enough to be called Cashmere.

There are all kids of people trying to get a cashmere type fiber out there, so WHY NOT JUST GET CASHMERE GOATS?
It is people that do this that cause the rest of us TRUECASHMERE breeders that strive to have top quality cashmere look like we are selling something not as good

I have had people come up to me and show me what they said was sold to them as Cashmere and it is not.

ANY goat can grow a Cashmere type cashmere, but it IS NOT CASHMERE

I think part of the problem is that people are selling goats as cashmere, that are not, and most people do not know the difference.
Where would you recommend looking for information on real cashmere goats?
