I do not know about his goats, because i have not been here much either, but what about you?
How are you feeling? I sure hope you are on the mend very quick.

Thanks for asking, I honestly feel like cr*p. But thats because I came down with a bug-fever, cough, etc. and I tried to tell the doc's the day before my infusion, but no one listened to me. I knew I shouldn't have had the treatment. But they are good doc's, I just know myself better than they do.

Another chemo gal here and just wanted to see what you were on. I am stage IV breast cancer with mets to lungs, liver and bones. I do bi-weekly chemo and take a chemo pill every night. I am on Tykerb and Doxil.

Oh Swing, you are on much stronger meds than me. I do a Cytoxin infusion once a month at the hospital. I guess they hit me with one high dose instead of many smaller doses in order to reduce the swelling in my lungs. The idea is to try to slow down the progression of the lung disease and hopefully allow me to live longer. Lung transplants are one of the ones that don't have great numbers of successes and double lung is even worse. And the disease I have is sooooo rare that there isn't much data/research on how to treat people like me who also have Lupus. My familly says if there is something wierd, rare, or freaky, I will get it and they are usually right. I'll keep you in prayer. Lynn

Thanks for sharing Crazygoatgal & Swinginonastar. I asking the Lord to remind me to pray.
I thought drs take blood and if the white count is too high they dont do certain treatments?
SOme of my girls look fat. If you grab the tail & its squishy at the base they have too mas weight. Or if you can grab a hunk of fat behind the elbow or have trouble finding ribs its time for "weight watchers" heheh!
They all look like great white whales to me. One has always looked like she's at least 6mos along. Alot of Boers are just BIG and big bellies alone doesnt mean they are fat.
Goats are fool proof alright CJB, half the time they prove us to be fools!!!

Yes Goat Servant I get bloodwork before every treatment and if my numbers arent good its no treatment for me. Luckily that has not happened which is a good thing.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

I just saw all the sweet words from you all and you guys really touch my heart in so many ways. You people on the goat forum really are the nicest I have ever "not" met. LOL . Yes, they do draw blood the morning of the treatment, but I always seem to have something smoldering and 9 out of 10 times I get sick with something after the treatment. I found out that I either have permanent thickening in one lower area or some temporary swelling in that area that will go away. They won't know for a while, but that is what is making me more short of breath with this bug. But the codeine cough medicine is lots of fun to take- Yeah, baby!!!
