went to the sale!

Well we went to the sale and brought 3 really nice cross does all open home. Well we penned them in the barn to look them over good. went to put them in a big pen and after I got the first two out the third bolted, I didn't have the gate shut and out she went. was running up and down the pen. The neighbor kid seen her out and came over with a rope going to catch her. Ran her back to the house and she kept going. So now I will have to she if she comes back Wife pretty upset that I lost one of the new goats.

You might call the Sheriff's office and report her missing. We had a small herd of horses show up in our yard a few years ago. We called the Sheriff's office and managed to get them reunited with their owners.

Goats don't like to be alone so she may come back to your pen when she hears the others. Put them in a pen and have another next to it that you can lock with food so you can trap her in if you have to.
Or if your neighbors have goats, they may find an extra one day.

We bought a few wild goats a few years ago. One flew off the trailer, went to the back of the pasture, cleared the fence and disappeared into the woods. A couple of days later a guy stopped at our house and asked if we were missing a goat. He said one showed up at his house and was trying to live with the sheep. It was about 1 1/2 miles away. She didn't appreciate being caught and brought home.

We got some wild goats last year and the buck escaped, He was gone two nights and I heard his long hooves clacking around that morning, what a chase to get him back in!

No sight of her. It has been pouring hear all day. I thought maybe she would come and get in the barn. I left the big sliding door open just in case. I haven't seen her yet. Hope the coyotes don't get her. Called a few of the neighbors so they are looking for her too. Wife says I got to go to the sale thursday and get her a replacement. Ill let you all know if we find her

Oh that's too bad. Maybe she found a good spot to get out of the rain and will come back when it stops. Don't give up yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray she comes back safely

speaking of replacement. That night we lost that wild pygora buck, I heard coyotes, and well. you can imagine what we assumed. Next day we went and bought a pygora buck, then the morning after back comes the wild one. Small world.
Sure hope she comes back and you can get her. If not, look for a friendly one!
