New York State Fair results
I signed up 5 girls for milk test. 2 yearlings , 2~ 3 year olds, and a 5 year old Alpine . The 2 yearlings did not get there stars but were close. The other 3 dids. Not only did we get stars but
We got highest producing Saanen
Highest butterfat in a Saanen
Highest proteun in a Saanen
Highest producing Alpine
Highest butterfat in an Alpine
Yearling Saanen took 4th and 6th
3 year olds took 1st and 3 & 7th
4th place in "herd"
The doe who took 1st is Isabel who I had a picture on here not long ago. She was also the highest producing doe and highest butterfat .
Needless to say for our first show and the first time the goats have been shown I was VERY happy ! :banana02:
