I have wormed the cows and goats with Cydectin. There is no with holding milk for the cows (topical application), how about the goats (oral application)? THANK YOU in advance.

All I can find is that it is that it's not supposed to be used, in any form, in lactating goats.

I use 48 hours, in a study on goats that was going to be published that I saw, it was less than this but it also said +or- Milk withdrawals will never be done on goats, unless ran by private individuals like we did on Valbazen. The study was the first time I also had seen Cydectin used injected. It is also never the drug found in residues but the carriers. Vicki

Thank you both...I have never seen any information on not giving to milking does. Where is that information from. I know it is safe for any stage of pregnacy.

I don't see a date on here so the info might be outdated OR it might be recent, I don't know - I'm still looking. Since I want to have a couple goats to milk for our use, I was concerned about it too.
