Unhappy Am I doing something wrong too?

My dh and I got two nubian does about 3 weeks ago. They are lively and very talkative. My concern is that dinah has clump poo. It's not little pebbles like suzanna. Sometimes it gets a few pebbles in it, then other times it is one clump and kind of greenish looking. They were both wormed before we left with them. They are on pasture with some browse and getting a little grain twice a day as I am working with them to start milking them. She acts fine. I just wondered if it was the stress of a new place, new pasture and feed. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated as these are my first goats. Thank you

I would give her some Probios for sure. It might help her make the change to different food/water. Also a good goat mineral is important

I don't worry about any poo that is not liquid.

Rain, change in browse, heat - any number of things can affect poo consistency. Clumpy is not an issue here. I would guess it is the new feed and pasture - and I would try not to worry.

Moving goats is stressful and often increases worms/coccidia in goats. Were they wormed when you got her?

First of all Congratulations on your new goats. That is great.

I have a doe that gets the clumpy poops at different times. I keep a eye on it but I do not stress over it. Just know her poops and you will see that not all goats poop the same, plus new food, water, and the stress of the move will do it to her. if you have some Cultured yogurt, give her a little of that id you do not have the Probias.

Yes, they were both wormed the day we got them. I'm thinking stress and new diet. Dinah is pretty thin and not managed the best. I think I may have overloaded her a little to try to get some meat on her.
