Michele, I just have to share how much I enjoy your posts And Frankie and Flossie have gotten so big! Poor Gretta, she has NO idea how good she has it, LOL.
My Tango will drop to his knees when he doesn't want to do something, too. And he's smart enough to realize that while I can still (just barely) pick him up when he's standing, he's gotten too heavy for me to lift if he's on the ground.
Goats are without question the most entertaining creatures I've ever met, the twerps that they are

LOL! That would be Mildred here. She really doesn't like the pen, now she'll stand on the other side and caaaaall for Greta (who's on the other side and she can see). Then it's time to go out, same thing. Greta knows, out means graze (Oh boy!!), in means treats (Oh BOY!!). Greta will usually go back around and push her out, she wants graze and *no* goat is going to keep her from it.

Too funny. But at least she still keeps moving.
In your second picture which baby is looking back at the camera? He/she looks just like my little Memorial Day buckling ( soon to be wether).

I guess we were blessed by getting goats that came from a herd that was moved from their pen to a fenced piece of forest to browse all day. The owners would put a leaf of alfalfa on the back of an ATV where the goats could see it from their pen. They had someone on the atv ready to go, and had someone else working the gate. The guy on the ATV would yell GOATS GOATS GOATS! and take off. The gate would open and the entire 300 goat herd would stampede behind the atv.
So when we put the goats away we yell GOATS GOATS GOATS and they come running, happy to go into their pen. We do put something to eat in there for them, so it is a treat.

I enjoyed them too! Nice looking place you got there! Maybe take down the steer skull see if it makes a difference..hehhehe
Now CommonTator 300 goats is a scary thought to be stampeding, behind an atv or not!
We all get our exercise with a sometimes empty feed pan. They will kill on site; great white whales packing around me like I was a sardine, sometimes jumping up for a better look. In fact one yearling all I ever hear out of her is pig grunts when she talks.

Well, it sure is nice to have a guaranteed laugh around here! If I get crabby I just have to put Gretta in the pen and I'm laughing
I should have hubby video tape it and send it in to America's Funniest but I'm afraid Gretta would turn into a movie star...and that would really go to her head!

I just had to look at them again, they are just too funny! I get such a kick out of the pics. The last one looks like you just shot her and she is refusing to go down. Or maybe she has narcolepsy and can't stay on her feet. I just have to forward these to my family, do you mind? I know they will love them.
