Doe with heavy dandruff - stressed

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...ictures002.jpg

The doe who had to have her kid pulled June 1st developed this awful dandruff about a week ago. *If you recall, she had lost feeling in her back leg from swelling but regained in within a day or two. Her first kid tried to come out head and back feet first. Vet ripped him out of her.

Anyway, I wormed her the day of the delivery, again a week ago with Ivermec. I gave her bose, a copper bolus and have added boss to her diet. Her skin is so dry and around her eyes is all dry and cracking. She is spunky and is enjoying the sunshine we've been having. Eats and drinks fine. Just concerned about her appearance.

Any other suggestions?

You can open a vit. E capsule and squirt in her mouth - but the seeds are a tad easier. They should start showing a difference soon, I would think.Sounds like you've covered the basics, though.

You can also use a light lotion on the scaly parts - like Aveeno or something hypoallergenic. We use Burts Bees when our girls get dry skin on the udder. It is "greaseless" so won't trap germs.
