Exclamation Day old kid with white bloody scours

I had three boer bucklings born yesterday; slow labor, I gave mom calcium drench. She got a shot of oxytocin today as she still appears to have some afterbirth hanging (found at least ONE sack on ground with some tissue but crows had also destroyed some of the "evidence"). Two kids seem fine, but one has progressively runnier and whiter scours. Not seeming to want to nurse. Last bout of poo had pinkish strands in it. I read Onion Creek Ranch medicine cabinet and thought of trying Spectram Scour Halt as per her recommendations. Any thoughts out there? Of course, I am supposed to be leaving for Washington tomorrow. Just editing to add that this doe aborted triplets in November...am worried that she has a partially retained placenta for some reason. That stuff hanging is not the usual stuff. AM seeing a little progress with the oxytocin.

Does it smell bad? Not like sour milk like normal young goat poop, but like something sick and pungent?

Are goats susceptible to white scours, same as calves? If so, it's a bad thing.

I have a question about this. Why would scours be white? Is it undigested milk being rushed through the system?

Pus and other dead bacteria/white blood cells. It's the shedding of microphages and such within the gut.

EVERYBODY gets a round of that here on the farm, about once every 2-3 weeks. If anyone is looking puny, they get it sooner than that and when I break out the bottle then I might as well do everyone.

Can't white scours indicate liver failure? I was told that once, but don't know if it is true.

All ok by last night; I think the baby, biggest one, got too much milk? His poops are back to meconium yellow and all three are perky. No meds since he was much improved once I got back from vets. Of course, maybe the white was from undigested milk. The neighbor, an expert on goats compared to my hubbie, will check in on them daily as I'm leaving for Washington state today.

Now, I dont know much about goat scours so this may be way left field, but when calcium is not digested fully, it comes out white like with snake poop, or a raw fed pet..
Could that even be a thought with this?
